This Penguin Baby Quilt Pattern is the perfect quilt for a winter baby. It was originally designed for my niece, but you can see that a color change makes it great for a boy as well. My mother has made a baby quilt for each of her grandchildren I was happy to be part of creating this one. Grandma added baby's name and birth date to the large snowball. The light colors are great for baby, but if you want to make it for an older penguin fan, then I suggest using bolder colors and the larger size for a lap quilt or smaller size for a wall hanging.
The 3 sizes include: Main instruction for Crib 36"x42", with additional small 24x28 and large 48"x56". Those are the measurements for the image but adding borders will change the finished size. In fact if you border the large size you could even put this on a twin bed.
