Several years ago I took a class with Karen K. Stone. She showed us an interesting applique' technique using fused fabric with no left over pieces. I was inspired to make the leaf design included in this pattern. If you ever get an opportunity to take a class with Karen K. Stone, jump to it!
This octagonal wall quilt of leaves in autumn colors is pretty from a distance but even more beautiful up close. The quilt uses a technique of fusible appliqué and then decorative machine stitches. It requires few fabrics, and very little waste.
The quilt may be made by any advanced beginner.

Only orders that qualify dimension wise for tracking get tracking. Most single quilt patterns do not qualify for tracking because they are too small and we would be forced to charge priority mail pricing which is often over the cost of the pattern.
