The Ritner Creek Covered Bridge is located in Polk County near the small town of Pedee. The 75 foot structure was built in 1927 using the Howe truss design combining strength with asthetics. In 1976 the Ritner Bridge was the last covered bridge to be removed from the state highway system. At that time it was relocated 60 feet downstream.
