Stringtown Lane Quilts Quilt Patterns
Heather Kidd started quilting in 2006, making her first couple quilts at home with her mother to then take to college. After she got married and started having babies she really got the quilting bug! Making quilts and other sewn items for her home, children, family members, friends and neighbors has brought her a lot of happiness. She started designing patterns in 2018. Applique is one of her favorite types of quilting and so several of her patterns include applique. She loves bright colors and contrast and that also shows in her designs. Her passion for quilting was fueled by her amazing mom, grandma, and aunts. She is also inspired by many other wonderful quilters in the quilting world.
Heather lives in a small rural town in Southeast Idaho with her husband and 4 boys. One day she knows she will be able to make more girly quilts for daughter-in-laws and granddaughters. She enjoys being outdoors with her family and does so a lot during spring, summer, and fall. Winter is when she gets to spend more time in her sewing room. One of her biggest joys that comes from quilting is the fact that when the project is finished it stays done, unlike everything else in the house!
