Puzzle 05 | Hanging Around an Open-Air Quilt Show - When the weather is fine, it’s a fine time for an outdoor quilt show. In Connecticut, the Farmington Valley Quilt Guild’s annual “Hang-A-Quilt Day” brings excitement to the community. And banners like you see to the left, made from U.F.O. blocks, help promote the event. Here, Country Cluckers (2012), made by Susan Elliott and designed by Arlene and Melissa of The Quilt Company, hangs proudly on a barn at Flamig Farm in West Simsbury. Susan shared that it took her six years to complete Country Cluckers, and each fabric chicken has its own name.
